Out and about exploring our new 'hood, we came across Fox & Hound on Yelp. We started off with the Smokehouse Bloody Mary, which is mixed with some of their house bbq sauce. Loved the crunchy bacon strip and the drink itself was just the right amount of spicy. The two of us shared the rib and meat combo with the tri tip. It comes with two sides and we got the onion rings and added a Caesar salad for $1 to round out the meal. We were impressed! Good smoky flavor on both meats. The ribs were fall off the bone, the tri tip was tender, the onion rings were bomb. The portions were generous, we even had leftovers. They have three sauces: mild, western Carolina and hot. We liked the hot the best which wasn't very hot and had a touch of sweetness. Will be back to try the other items on the menu!

Food (taco salad with pulled pork and chicken bbq sandwich), was good. The taco salad had tons of smoked pulled pork, dressing was very good. Service was good and like the atmosphere. Worth going too!

I stayed up at The Ridge during the American Century Championship held at Edgewood Lake Tahoe. Food: Had dinner 2x during my stay in Lake Tahoe. First night was Teriyaki wings and. The Works pizza. Neither of the 2 disappointed. The wings were piping hot coming out w great flavor AND a pizza w everything on it...how could you go wrong. Crust had just the right amount of crisp and overall the pizza was NOT covered w sauce Night #2's dinner was St Louis Pork Ribs w a side of chili and x-crispy tater tots. Tonight was very busy and I was not in any rush. Ribs were tasty and had the right amount of smoke....definitely an Award winner!!!Loved their chili... Ambiance: Being on the Nevada side, the bar is reserved for those who want to gamble, enjoy a cocktail and food. I sat at a high top which was perfect even though I took up a table for 4. Friday night, they are busy...be ready for at least a 20 minute wait I will definitely stop back in and try their breakfast menu!!

We had the combo platter of ribs, chicken, sausage, brisket, and tri tip served with cole slaw, potato salad, mac & cheese, green beans and corn muffins. It was all very good We sat outside on the back patio that has a gorgeous view. The service was excellent. Oh and BBQ Bloody Mary's were awesome!!!

Really a ton of food. Was able to squeeze in after a slight wait for our party of 4. Got beers and apps came out with enough space for food, coming out a reasonable time later. Will update this review lil later tho. I'm full! Def would recommend & the patio was a-ma-zing this time of year.

This is my favorite BBQ place in the Tahoe Reno area! The meat smoker sits directly in front of the restaurant and beckons you in when you smell it. We love coming here with friends since they have BBQ platters that can serve a crowd. We got one this time that served seven of us. It included ribs, chicken, chopped pork, sausage and multiple sides such as bacon mac and cheese, green beans, and corn bread muffin, to name just a few. We even got a couple of appetizer baskets of dry rub chicken wings. Sooo good! Lastly, you can't go wrong if you start off with the Campfire Margarita! The smokey agave nectar and the smoked salt are what transform this margarita and put it over the top!

We were pleasantly surprised how fantastic the salad was. We have visited this area several times over the years and never actually stopped in because we thought it was a little bit more of a bar. The staff is super nice and the food is delicious! They do have really great drinks too. it started to get a little bit loud towards the end of our visit...but the view is beautiful and and everyone was having a good time. It was happy noisy!

This is a great go-to restaurant if you are skiing the Nevada side and parked at Stagecoach or Boulder Lodge OR if you are doing the hike near the summit when its not ski season. The ribs are DEELISH! And their signature cocktails (e.g., margarita) are also tasty. If you get a sandwich, the tater tots and fries are must-haves. I like all things pork (ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, combo platter) at Fox & Hound. If you have a large party, they have this monster of a plate of their best dishes and sides. It's worth getting even just for the pictures.

A quick little stop before heading towards Kirkwood. Found this on Google Maps and the drive there from Carson City near the perimeter of Tahoe looked enticing. SO glad I stopped by. Ordered their "award winning ribs" and it did not disappoint. The meat was so tender and fell off the bones. The bbq sauce was the perfect balance of sweet with the tiniest kick to your tongue. Also, the sole slaw and potato salad were fantastic pairs. Couldn't finish it so brought the leftovers to my boyfriend. Even after being reheated at home, he enjoyed it, especially the potato salad. Will definitely recommend and visit this place in the future. Oh! And service was great. Was helped by some young-ish fella. Very attentive.
